Over the years women have slowly worked their way into the NRL which involves mostly men because men typically have more authority over the players than the women do. Clear example of this is Euvon Sampson and Erin Molan.
Female NRL was first introduced in 1993 a whole 84 years after the men started playing in 1908. Then 7 years later in 2000 the first women NRL world cup was played. Jonsin the NRL for women have become more occurrent from commentating to being a physio. The career of Erin Molan shows that women a welcome in the NRL. She started off as a journalist for WIN and in 2010 moved to Sydney and did some sideline commentary and journalism for the NRL. When 2012 came around Molan was offered and job at the footy show which was a full men cast. This was the a huge movement because she got involved with the players and the NRL itself.

Aboriginals feel like they have been segregated from Australia for years and the NRL seem to have noticed this and taken the issue into their own hands. The indigenous round is where the Indigenous people are celebrated. This is done by the clubs sending off their jerseys to aboriginal ancestors for them to design a jersey for the teams to wear. Also any profits made for the round is sent to the reconciliation foundation. Then their is a representative game at the start of the season Aboriginal All-stars vs NRL All-Stars. This game is a fiery competition battled out by the game's current great players. At the start of the game the Indigenous team does the haka which is a war cry and is a threat of intimidation towards the opposition. This game shows off the culture. that the great land of Australia has and also shows the diversity of our culture.
