EFFECT OF SEXUAL HEALTH/REPRODUCTIVE
HEALTH EDUCATION ON THE YOUNG PEOPLE'S
PERCEPTION OF SEXUALITY: A COMPARATIVE
STUDY
Definition of the Problem: The findings of the worldwide researches emphasize
the importance of the sexual health education programs that provide proper and
scientifically correct information for young people. This study intends to evaluate
the change in the sexuality perception of the students who attend to the Sexual
Health/Reproductive Health (SH/RH) education. Method: The research's type is
descriptive. The population of the study consists of total 466 students. Total 389
people were accessed which make 83.47% of the population who accepted to
participate in the study including 211 students who take the class and 178 students
who don't take the class. The data was collected by the survey form created by the
researchers. Chi-square test (χ2) was used in the data analysis. Findings: Average
age of the participating students is 19,89±1,90. It is determined that the
participating students who take the class see sexuality as an important part of life
