... in CONCLUSION
In the "Fearless child makes a cheerful child" project, five partner countries have participated: Turkey, Croatia, Romania,
Bulgaria and France.
The main objective of the project was:
Making preschool education more attractive and appealing, and sharing the practices done on a country basis to
overcome school phobia and develop new methods as well as share ideas about the techniques used. We believe to
have achieved the set goal.
Since the start of the project, we made all the decisions together, selected the working methods, delegated assignments
within the project and organized and implemented international project meetings. Turkey, our main coordinator, was
responsible for our collective cooperation and communication between partners as well as monitoring the
implementation of all the project activities.
The main coordinator created and maintained the official project web page and Facebook group. Our partner France
created and updated eTwinning platforms and the blog about the traditional games of all participating countries. As a
partner, Croatia came up with a booklet and wrote an e-book about the Project activities and outputs, as well as created
a Twitter profile. Our partner Romania created a leaflet for the project with the purpose of dissemination, as well as an
Instagram profile. Our Bulgarian partner created the YouTube channel, organized an exhibition at the end of the project
and presented the final project results.
When we started this collaboration, we revived the importance of the adaptation period of the child to an education
facility, one that is equally stressful to the child, the parent and the teacher. We see the parent as an active participant in
this process and with that goal, every one of our international meetings had a parent representative present, one that
was fully informed about the project and its goals. Through participation of the partners in the said tasks, every individual
improved their skills of verbal communication in English language (the official language of the project at the international
presentations at the meetings), formal and informal communication, developing confidence and trust in the partners
confirmed by constant exchange of information, adopting new IT skills through various platforms with the purpose of
disseminating the project (eTwinning, Skype, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and You Tube) and personal development of
social skills in a group of coworkers from different cultural backgrounds.
