LOGARITMIC GAMES / MANUAL GAMES Every child needs their own individual approach. Establishing an emotional connection is most important, as well as emotional dialogue, on two different terms: kindergarten teacher to child, and the child to kindergarten group. Manual games using just the fingers became a go-to method for calming children when they are upset. There are a lot of distractions and toys in the kindergarten but didactically designed activities and material still play an important role. One of the most popular finger games is called Ladybug. Ladybug, it moves, it moves. She doesnt know where to sit. She sat on your palm, ladybug fly away!
Finger games can help create a relaxing atmosphere at any moment during the day. Logarithmic games can be played in the pair or in a group of children. The lyrics in finger games correspond to hand movements and the result is what modern educators would refer to as multisensory learning, as it engages multiple senses such as visual, auditory and motion as a means to learning.
This technique develops motor skills that affect speech development. We can say that finger games affect the development of motor skills, a childs emotional aspect, sensory aspect, neuropsychological aspect and finally, speech development.
