A MESSAGE FROM THE PRIORESS
Dear Friends,
I am pleased to present to you this 2016 – 2017 annual report of activities.
In this edition, we offer you examples of our Sisters living the Dominican
Charism, and sharing the messages of love and mercy that Jesus left us.
A most important highlight of this edition is our donor listing, our opportunity
to acknowledge and thank you, our faithful benefactors, for your generosity
and loyal support. Because of you, the impact of our mission of preaching is
broader, deeper and richer.
We know that every gift you offer is rooted in partnership, and we cherish
our partners in mission. Your support empowers our Sisters to minister both
near and far. In this edition you will read about one of our local ministries,
Homecoming Farm, a community-supported organic farm, which donates
20% of its wonderful produce to the homeless.

Our Sisters also reach out to our neighbors afar, as you will read in the
accounts of S. Diane Capuano and S. Flor de Maria Buruca. Along with
students from Molloy College, they visited Sol Naciente, El Salvador
to volunteer at a children’s camp and help beautify the town through a
community service project.
We are so grateful to you, our generous supporters, for sharing our journey.
You make all the difference – thank you! Know that you and your families
are remembered in our prayers each day.
With deep gratitude and prayer,
Sister Mary Pat Neylon, OP
