Our time to shine

eld every year as an opportunity
for MDS dancers to let their hard
work during the year shine through, this
is when members take to the stage to
perform for friends and family, and of
course, other MDS members. Prepara-
tion began from the beginning of
semester, with students in classes work-
ing hard to master routines, and others
creating their own performance groups
and some choreographing their own
routines. Last year’s performance night
included some serious booty shaking for
Reggaeton, some K-pop that was ‘Very
Nice’, a ladies Chacha that left us
wanting
to
be
them
too,
some
Quickstepping through the audience,
and
a
dramatic
ballroom
dance
involving love, jealousy and bloody revenge.
