Poetry
the words of the other
By: Veronica Lerner
I seek my shelter
in the words of the other
a hollow tree
where the shade
praises the light
Editor of Romanian newspaper
Observatorul. Author of five books of
prose and poetry.
I laugh and cry
in the words of the other
my silence a mirror
reflecting them back
the Earth,
I plowed it in pain
and cut a swath
turning one stone
after another
I wake from the dark
and wait for what
always consoles me
the words of the other
