If you are looking for“ a band in a box,” look no further than Allie Hutsell. She can do anything! Do you need a full 6 person band with all the instruments? Allie & the Catz to the rescue. Do you have a smaller budget, but still want live music? Try her duo- Allie & Grace. Or do you just want a looping artist who can sing almost anything? Enjoy the smooth sounds of Allie’ s solo performances.
Allie Hutsell has been performing professionally for decades. It all started as a child when her mom played piano at church and Allie would sing along. Allie says her parents had great, eclectic tastes in music and she grew up listening to everything from Three Dog Night to Patsy Cline. She got her first gig at 7 years old with her mother accompanying her on the piano.
Growing up in Texas, Allie toured through the state with professional musicians like Porter Wagoner, the Judds, Jim Ed Brown, and Little Jimmy Dickens. She soaked up every minute of this musical environment and gained so much from these talented professionals. Shoji Tabuchi had a show in Branson and hired her immediately after high school. Allie says she learned all styles of music there and loved working at his theater show.
After leaving Branson, she worked for Mark Steiner at Gig Salad and he helped her put together a band. As a child, her nickname was Allie Cat, but she wanted something that sounded more cool and hip, not cute and furry- hence the name Allie & the Catz. Now 22 years later, Allie & the Catz are still going strong, playing a soulful, rock sound. Influenced by groups like Heart, Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac, Pink and even Patsy Cline, Allie loves playing live music.“ The whole reason I play live is because you get back 10 fold what you put into each performance. I love seeing the emotion on the audience’ s face, knowing we are tapping into something deeper and touching them through the universal language of music.”
One of her favorite weddings she has ever played was at Big Cedar. This was the couple ' s second marriage and they were blending their two families of adult children. The newlyweds were very intentional about the songs they selected, each tune with meaning and purpose, tying everything together. From a cocktail hour set, to laid back dinner music, progressing to an upbeat dance party for the reception, Allie remembers it was such a special moment seeing these two families come together at this wedding and was honored to be a part of this union with music.
When she is not performing, you can find Allie dabbling in her studio like the techie nerd she is with her gear, goofing around, trying out new sounds or binge watching true crime dramas with her family.

If the heart of country music is a love song, the heart of The Steve and Heather Show is the epitome of country music and love. These two musicians have decades of professional experience with their own bands, but when Steve and Heather locked eyes and sang a duet together at a local club, from that moment on, they have been harmonizing side by side! The couple says fate recently brought them together, and the two lovebirds have been belting out country music duets ever since.
Steve Graham, founder, lead vocalist and drummer of the Honkytonk Renovators has had many musical influences in his life, from singing in church and high school choir to playing drums. Steve decided to move to the thriving music scene of Springfield-Branson area. in the early 90’ s and for several years honed his skills as a rockabilly / blues drummer, sharing stages with some top national blues acts such as Walter Trout, Chris Duarte, and Watermelon Slim.
Heather White is a 90’ s country singer influenced by rock, classic country and gospel. At 14, she started singing and performing for audiences in Albuquerque, New Mexico then moved to the Branson area and polished her musical talent at the Showboat Branson Belle and the Branson Jamboree. Chasing her dream, she moved to Nashville performing and spending time with the likes of David Fraiser and John Rich in the studio, learning the ropes of the music industry. Heather has shared the stage with legends such as Gene Watson, Ronnie McDowell, The Oak Ridge Boys, Porter Wagoner, Lisa Layne, and Jim Owen just to name a few!
In 2024, this dynamic duo teamed up to bring The Steve and Heather Show to the 417 area. Performing country love song duets, 90’ s country, old classic country and western swing, The Steve and Heather Show offers an affordable option to couples who want live music at their wedding. You can book just the duo who will sing live to professional tracks, or if you want the energy of an entire band, they can bring their musicians and instruments as well. Heather remembers one of her favorite moments was when she was singing“ At Last” by Etta James and the couple had their backs to her. When they turned around and saw she was singing live, they were blown away. Steve also remembers,“ I love singing a beautiful love song and seeing folks in the crowd with tears in their eyes, it just hits my heart!” The couple can sing just about anything, and if they don’ t know it, they will figure it out.“ Many times people ask us to sing‘ Golden Ring’ by George Jones and Tammy Wynette. We have a huge playlist and take requests, but most often, we read the crowd, what they are responding to, and choose songs that we know they will enjoy.”
If Steve and Heather are not in Nashville listening to great live music, you will find them trout fishing or antiquing here in the Ozarks.
