Wedding Guru Rob Schaefer , Wedding and Special Events Manager for Lodge of Four Seasons , took inspiration for this shoot from the natural beauty of the Japanese gardens created by legendary landscape artist , Buffy Murai . To highlight the garden tones vermilion red , rust , azure , and cherry blossom pink were chosen . The garden has been a longtime favorite for small ceremonies and wedding photos at The Lodge . The dramatic Japanese bridge spans the Koi Pond and reflects the Japanese maple and magnolia trees . Cascading streams of water fill the Koi Pond and tumble through the rock beds until reentering Lake Ozark . It is easy to be inspired by the beautiful Japanese Garden at The Lodge of Four Seasons .
From the Japanese inspired black and gold invitations to the lovely garden festivities , Asian details create a visual masterpiece for this shoot . A mixture of casual and refined elements give the sweetheart table life . The bamboo chairs complement the antique wooden sweetheart table and bamboo étagère . Assorted exotic florals and fern leaf with bamboo are used to add global interest . What bride wouldn ’ t want handrolled sushi and hot tea from Lodge of Four Seasons for a late afternoon respite ?
