MVP Magazine—Heartbeat Issue From The Heart of the Editor………. Welcome to our 1st issue of MVP Magazine. This first issue is our “Heartbeat Image issue and it is dedicated to all college bound students, athletes, parents, and coaches across America. My name is Kimberli Perry, and my husband Alan and Here I could not wait for this magazine to be released. After working as Academic Coaches for high school athletes, we were continually pushing ourselves to deliver the best product in the best format aimed at college bound student-athletes and MVP Magazine was born. The anticipation of waiting, can be related to a pregnancy. From conception, to the growing stages, to the preparation stages, to the labor stages and to now see the new baby! There is so much we are excited about covering in MVP Magazine. Every issue you pick up will provide you with athletic news on the wit, soul and unwavering determination of college bound student-athletes across America. This magazine is like none other, it will showcase the desires of college bound student-athletes, advice from experts that are involved in interscholastic and intercollegiate sports and highlights of strong characteristics of trailblazing athletes that are making impacts in their communities. MVP Magazine all-star team of editors are united by their passion for education and athletics and will continue to make MVP Magazine the American treasure! This 1st edition is our Heartbeat Edition. When defining what a heartbeat is, we know that a heart beat is the pulsation of the heart or the vital center. It is this magazine where you will hear the heart or feel the pulse of those that are going through adversities or have been through adversities in their life and will share how they have come out. Having a good flow of blood going through the veins of your body is critical to having good health. The articles that you will read, and the information that is provided will help with the flow of our college bound student-athlete high school career. They are purposeful and intentional and they will help unclog or prevent any clogging that could be caused by
