Anne Johnson '08 graduated in December from
the University of Maryland, College Park with
a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
and a minor in Astronomy. She currently lives
in Connecticut and works as a programmer for
FACTSET, a global finance marketing analysis
company.
Joshua LeDoux ‘08 has just accepted a new
job into the Montgomery County Police
Department and will be going to the academy
later this month.
U.S. Navy Ensign Vincent M. Lubetski
'08, son of Michael and Mary Lubetski of
Waldorf, Maryland, graduated July 18th
from Navy Officer Development School in
Newport, Rhode Island. Vince is a second-year
medical student at the Philadelphia College of
Osteopathic Medicine's Doctor of Osteopathic
Medicine program, which he completes in June
of 2016.
Brianna Pippens '08 auditioned and was
selected to be one of the "Faces of St. John's
University." Brianna is in a Masters Program at
St. John's University, majoring in International
Communications and will graduate in May
2014.
Bryan Thompson '08 goes by Bryan Champion,

Georgia with a BA in International Affairs.
Brandon Coleman '09 is declaring for the NFL
Draft. The standout at Rutgers put himself on
scouts' radars after totaling 43 receptions for
718 yards and 10 touchdowns last season.
Jerome Couplin III '09 was named by the
Associated Press as a First Team All-American
member. Recently honored as a first-team AllAmerican by The Sports Network, Couplin
established himself as one of the nation's top
defensive players this fall and was a finalist for
the Buchanan Award at the College of William
and Mary.
Sarah Elizabeth Cuellar '09 graduated from
UMBC on December 20, 2013 with a BA
in Cultural Anthropology with Department
Honors and an English Literature Minor.
Joseph ( Joey) Gorirossi ‘09 graduated Magna
McNAMARalumni
cum laude from Seton Hill University in
December 2013, with a Bachelor of Arts degree
in History and Political Science. He will begin
pursuing a Master of Business Administration
degree at Seton Hill in January and will be the
Graduate Assistant Coach for the Seton Hill
men's soccer team for the next two years. Joey
also will continue to work as an accounting
intern for the Office of Financial Management,
Office of the Commissioner, U.S. Food and
Drug Administration, where he has been
employed for the past four years.
Vincent Darryl Harrington '09 is a candidate
for the Democratic Central Committee
Legislative District 25 in Prince George's
County.
Kevin Hine '09 graduated from the University
of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida with a
major in Criminal Justice and minors in Sports
Management and History.
Krista Scanlan '09 graduated in May 2013
from University of Maryland with a Bachelor of
Science degree in Elementary Education.
Anthony Venida ’09 posted video highlighting
the experiences of his 4K journey cross country
to raise funds for cancer.
Rashad Whack '09 was named the Choice
Hotels/Northeast Conference Player of the
Week. "Whack averaged 24.5 points, 6.0
rebounds and 2.5 steals in leading the Mount to
a pair of thrilling NEC victories," according to
the Mount athletics' website.
Talib Zanna '09 received a visit from the Men's
Varsity Basketball Team over their winter
break. The team travelled to the University
of Pittsburgh to watch Zanna and his fellow
Panthers play at the Peterson Events Center.
Talib was also instrumental in Pittsburgh's
qualification for the Men's NCAA Tournament.

Mayowa Alli '10 has been named to the National
Soccer Coaches of America Association
(NSCAA) All-America Third Team.
Brandi Bottalico '10 traveled to Honduras
in January for 8 days to help build a school
for children with the non-profit organization,
Students Helping Honduras.
Gregory Carbott ‘10 will graduate from the
School of Engineering at the University of
Michigan on May 3rd with a Bachelor of Science
in Earth System Science & Engineering. He
was accepted into the University of Michigan’s
Master of Engineering Program in Space
Engineering for Fall 2014.
Jackie Corley '10, Senior at Mount St. Mary's
in Emmitsburg, was named to the Second Team
in the All-Northeast Conference. Jackie, who
continues to achieve Dean's List at the Mount,
is a Business and Marketing major who will
graduate in May 2014.
Bryan Freeman '10, who currently attends
Morehouse University, has just received his
acceptance to the Wake Forest University
Master of Science in Accountancy program
with a full tuition scholarship.
AJ Gonzalez '10 completed his Bachelor of
Arts at Barry University in seven semesters,
graduating early. He majored in Broadcast
Communication and Emerging Media with a
minor in Advertising.
Olivia Harris '10 studied abroad at the
George Washington University Elliott School
of International Affairs in Paris, France. She
returned home from Paris around December
15, 2013 and will be graduating from George
Washington University in May 2014.
Ryan Leslie '10 and his Marlin's soccer team at
Virginia Wesleyan College won the 2013 Old
Dominion Athletic Conference men's soccer
championship.
Drawing from her double major in Archaeology
and Latin American studies, Alessandra
Villarreal's '10 research took her to Cahal Pech,
an archaeological site in Belize, to analyze and
interpret Pre-Classic Mayan architecture.
