ALEKS MATH PLACEMENT ASSESSMENT
As a new student at Stevenson, you are required to take an ALEKS Placement, Preparation, and Learning( ALEKS PPL) Assessment to determine your readiness for mathematics courses.
The assessment contains up to 25 questions and generally takes 60-90 minutes to complete. Your results will be immediately available upon completion, and you will also be able to access an individualized Prep and Learning Module to refresh your knowledge on specific topics. You can retake the assessment up to 4 times to improve your placement.

GUIDED PLACEMENT SURVEY
All new students are required to take a credit-bearing English course during their first semester. Your English course placement will be determined by a self-placement assessment designed by the SU English Department and included in REG _ 100: Introduction to University Registration and Resources.
Please take your time and reflect while completing the assessment in order to make the best decision for your English course placement.
