ALEKS MATH PLACEMENT ASSESSMENT
As a new student at Stevenson , you are required to take an ALEKS Placement , Preparation , and Learning ( ALEKS PPL ) Assessment to determine your readiness for mathematics courses .
The assessment contains up to 25 questions and generally takes 60-90 minutes to complete . Your results will be immediately available upon completion , and you will also be able to access an individualized Prep and Learning Module to refresh your knowledge on specific topics . You can retake the assessment up to 4 times to improve your placement .

GUIDED PLACEMENT SURVEY
All new students are required to take a credit-bearing English course during their first semester . Your English course placement will be determined by a self-placement assessment designed by the SU English Department and included in REG _ 100 : Introduction to University Registration and Resources .
Please take your time and reflect while completing the assessment in order to make the best decision for your English course placement .
