Stevenson ’ s CAMPUS SAFETY PERSONNEL are dedicated to the around-the-clock safety and security of our students , faculty , staff , and visitors . You can spot their white-and-green trucks with green flashers around the campus .
The Stevenson Campus Safety Department is staffed by more than 40 dedicated professionals and 3 supervisors from various public service and safety backgrounds , including the Maryland State Police , Baltimore County Police , and the Baltimore County Fire and EMT services .
Stevenson ’ s Campus Safety Officers are ready to assist you and maintain an active presence on campus . They are on duty 24 hours a day , 7 days a week . Even when the university is closed , it is protected by our Campus Safety professionals . The Greenspring Campus is served by Safety Officers during all hours that the campus is open .

SU ALERT
SU Alert is STEVENSON ’ S CAMPUS EMERGENCY TEXT AND EMAIL MESSAGING SYSTEM . SU Alert is an opt-in system , so you must sign up to receive emergency alert texts and / or email messages to your preferred email address .
All students are encouraged to sign up for both the text and email alert options in SU Alert . In the event of a campus emergency and major weather-related campus closing and delays , SU Alert texts and emails will be the first way we will communicate information to our campus community .
