SU has partnered with GradGuard™ to provide students and their families with tuition insurance . The Tuition Protection Plan offered by GradGuard™ supplements Stevenson University ’ s tuition refund policy .

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Once per academic year , students are required to review and accept the Annual Financial Responsibility Agreement . The agreement is located in the ‘ Required Agreements ’ area under the student ’ s profile in Self-Service .
BOOK VOUCHERS
Students are eligible for a book voucher if their financial aid is in excess of their semester charges . Book vouchers are available on the student ’ s SUOne card beginning two ( 2 ) weeks prior to the start of the semester for use in the Campus Store .
INCLUSIVE ACCESS MATERIALS
Some courses take part in the SU Inclusive Access ( IA ) program , a digital course materials delivery program . IA provides immediate digital access to required course materials via Blackboard at significantly discounted prices . IA charges will be billed with tuition charges to the student account .
FERPA / PROXY ACCESS
Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act ( FERPA ) requires Stevenson University to obtain a student ’ s permission before providing access to their educational records . Assigning Proxy Access allows the student to grant parents , grandparents , guardians , or other users access to their student records in the following areas :
• Student Finance
• Financial Aid
• Academics
• ( General ) Notifications
• Tax Information
Once Proxy Access is assigned , the person receiving the access ( the proxy ) can see the specified information , and the University is authorized to speak on this information to the proxy . Proxy Access can be set up at :

FEDERAL TITLE IV AUTHORIZATION
Students should complete the Federal Title IV Authorization form . The form is located under Financial Information in WebXpress . The Department of Education requires that Title IV funds ( federal financial aid ) be applied only to allowable charges . Allowable charges include : tuition , housing , and meal plan . Fees assessed by the University such as wellness center fees , replacement ID fees , etc ., are not authorized charges for which Title IV funds can be automatically applied .
We encourage all students to complete this form , even if they do not receive any Title IV financial aid . If at some point in the future they do receive Title IV financial aid , this authorization will already be in place .
