Using a holistic approach , our Student Success Professionals provide an array of services and resources that enable you to optimize your academic potential , persist in your studies , and complete your degree .
THE JOHN L . STASIAK ACADEMIC LINK LEARNING CENTER
The Academic Link is dedicated to promoting a student-centered learning environment that fosters individual insight into the learning process and enhances students ’ independent learning skills . By collaborating with faculty , staff , and other students , the Link offers a wide range of innovative programs and services to support your success . These include online and in-person subject tutoring , individualized writing sessions , study strategies tutoring , Peer-Assisted Learning ( PAL ).
The Link is also home to our Testing Center that provides students with a quiet location for facultyapproved make-up exams and ADS-approved testing accommodations .
OFFICE OF ACCESSIBILITY AND DISABILITY SERVICES ( ADS )
ADS supports Stevenson students by providing equal access to educational opportunities to qualified students with documented disabilities in accordance with federal and university policy . ADS assists eligible students in requesting and implementing approved disability accommodations . In addition to classroom accommodations , ADS also manages housing accommodation requests and works with other university offices to address special access and service issues related to a student ’ s educational experience .
