Two different answers, one basic meaning, but it still does not define what punk rock is to me.
Punk rock is a genre of music in which can be very confusing or weird at first, but after a while of actualy listening and understanding to lyrics. You can hear and understand the meaning of the song and lyrics. The song may be one of the most upbeat and funnest songs to dance to, but if the lyrics can be totally different. Every single line has a hidden meaning.
Punk Rock is many things in different eyes. People have said that Punk Rock is dead. But since the magazine 'Kerrang!' (which is a punk rock/rock magazine) is being sold around the US and UK making the best selling weekly rock magazine, it seems it is anything but dead.
