According to TMZ, Birdman has finally responded to the accusations made against him being involved in Lil Wayne's tour bus shooting. Members of Birdmans camp are declaring there innocence as well as the innocence of Birdman; claiming that he had no prior knowledge of the plans carried out by Young Thug's former manager, James Carlton Winfrey.
According to reports, the phones used in the conspiracy were only registered under Birdmans name because they were company phones, as the court documents suggest. Lil Wayne was informed of the incident that took place by a member of his camp and reports tell us that Winfrey had been harassing Lil Wayne in the club prior to being removed the party.
The tour bus shooting led police to Winfrey, who was recently indicted as the gunman behind the shooting.
In a press conference held on Thursday July 24 Waller County Prosecutor Warren Diepraam stated that the injuries sustained by Bland were not consistent with those of a violent homicide, but were “uniform and consistent” with those of a suicide by hanging. Diepraam stated that autopsy revealed no defensive injuries on Bland’s hands, only abrasions on her wrist that were related to the physical struggle she had with the police officer who arrested her.
The unjust arrest and death of Sandra Bland has caused an uproar of suspicion and anger among activists and supporters. The inconsistencies in the reasoning behind her arrest and her death has left the world unsettled and in disbelief. Bland was arrested July 10 after being pulled over for failure-to-signal a lane change. Only 72 hours later she was allegedly found hanging in her jail cell.
