According to TMZ, Lil Wayne and his Young Money entourage were kicked off of his private jet Tuesday (July 21) for smoking marijuana against the pilots wishes after being asked to quit.
Minutes after taking off from an airport in Ft. Lauderdale, the pilot turned the aircraft around heading back to the airport after Wayne would not comply with the wishes of the pilot. This is not the first time Wayne has had airport-related issues however they are starting to add up. According to Courthouse News Service, Wayne and Signature Group (aircraft rental service) recently had a falling out due to Wayne's failure to pay his rental fees for his plane travels. Signature Group stated in their 14-page lawsuit that Lil Wayne allegedly owes over $1 million in rental fees. The aircraft rental service has requested that Lil Wayne pay his rental fees and damages compensation for violating several clauses in his contract with the company.
