50 Cent decided to finally appear in court for his trial against Lastonia Leviston. After already having the odds turned against him in the ruling that indebted him to paying Leviston $5 million in damages for leaking their sextape without her permission.

According to the New York Post, 50 Cent claims that his true networth is only $4.4 million which is a big difference from the $150 million tag place on him by Forbes list earlier this year. To justify his more than flashy lifestyle, 50 Cent claims that his cars were rented and his jewelry was borrowed from his jeweler.

“It’s like music videos, they say action and you see all these fancy cars but everything goes back to the dealership,” he said, the Post reports. Jackson claims that he only made $3.8 million from the 38 million records he sold worldwide, $100,000 for a day of filming Spy and $200,000 for his recent appearance at a concert in London. You gotta smile when you’re in a public situation. If you’re crying they’re just having more fun with you,” he said.

Since filing for bankruptcy last week, Jackson's lawyer told the judge that the rappers accounts are nearing zero due to debts owed. Jackson also made an apology to Leviston saying, "I'm sorry if you feel like I hurt you."
