Nicki Minaj had a lot on her mind after having her Anaconda video looked over for Video of the Year by 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. Which is hard fathom with the stellar reviews the video received for its choreography alone, not to mention the Vevo record the video set for most views in 24 hours (19.8 million). So it's not hard to understand why the best female rapper of all time is upset with MTV's alleged bias.
On Tuesday July 21, Minaj took to Twitter to voice her displeasure with MTV. Her rant was met with mixed reviews and of course her words were misconstrued.
Taylor Swift seemed to especially take offense to Nicki Minaj's comments to the point to where she felt the need to exchange words with Minaj in a polite manner. Without escalating the situation.
