According to Vibe, Drake will have Beyoncé featured on his upcoming LP Views From The 6. Four Pins had a chance to catch up with Drake during the first weekend of Coachella and Drake shared some news about his new project. According to Drake, so far he has only recorded two records that he likes for the new album; one is a collaboration with Beyoncé and the other is a new record with a sound we are not quite used to hearing from Toronto rapper. Drake is set to release his album later on this year after announcing that it was in the making last July.
According to Earnest Baker, Drake’s days of releasing lay-up bangers are over with for now. Views From The 6 is expected to feature a different sound that we became familiar with from listening to If You’re Reading This It’s Too late. One record that Drake sees as a good fit for his new LP is the collaboration with Beyoncé and the other new record is one that is comparable to Kanye West’ 808’s & Heartbreak.
Drake also made a confession about his performance at Coachella. Even though Drake is on the path to becoming a living legend in today’s music industry, his performance at Coachella did not meet the expectations of a lot of fans. Drake said that he has realized that his performance at Coachella was not met with complete satisfaction by the fans. Drake says, “I took an L for the first time. I just have to reassess what went wrong with my judgement.”
