When Eminem and Rick Ross announced album dates so close together the world sensed a silent competition to be in the making. Even though it was never stated by the two superstars. Rick Ross rocked the billboard in early 2014 with his fifth No. 1 album Mastermind which sold 179,000 units in it's first week; and now he's back with his second album of 2014 Hoodbillionaire. However, neither Eminem or Rick Ross topped the chart of Billboard 200, they are in solid positions as far as first week sales go. Eminem's new album Shady XV hit the charts at No. 3 selling 148,000 units in his first week while Rick Ross' album Hoodbillionaire hit the charts at No. 6 selling 79,000 units in his first week.
