Music Mayhem Magazine June 2014 : ISSUE #4 (Skate & Surf Edition) | Page 47

I must say I'm glad i got to see them as they had a GREAT show to put on as vocalist Kyle has the jumps as you probably seen throughout their very high energetic set. I then had some spare time to just cruise around the park to see the vendors in attendance of Skate & Surf 2014, which had several like MerchNOW, Plug Your Holes, Peta, FXck Cancer, & Many many more including a magazine called Substream Magazine & a few record labels including Equal Vision Records & Victory Records. Then the moment everyone has been waiting for as almost EVERY single person in attendance filled in front of The World Stage (main stage) for The Reunion of Anthony Green with SAOSIN. The crowd went nuts when Anthony hit the stage with Saosin for their second reunion show of multiple & they didn't fail to give a amazing show just like the old days of Saosin, Looking forward to what they have in store for us very soon! I got to also then go run and catch a glimpse of the Jake Miller set which was very Fan Friendly for the younger people at the event Which he has quite the crowd. Not rock music more of a pop show with some awesome lighting. I then ran over to catch another moment EVERYONE at the event was waiting for The Reunion of MIDTOWN, once they hit the stage the crowd went crazy moshing, crowd surfing their way to the front row, & so much more. We got our song count cut short for photography on Saosin & Midtown's sets due to the insane amount of love the fans showed for their fans. Overall I'm very happy and pleased that i got the opportunity to attend Skate & Surf 2014 and I'm very glad that I did cause i had a GREAT time at the festival from opening to closing. Nothing but a good time at Skate & Surf and I'm looking forward to hopefully covering Skate & Surf 2015 thru the entire weekend & not just one day! If you get the opportunity to attend this festival you should in 2015!!! Review By Andrew Wendowski.
