Introduce yourselves & your part in the band, along with a small background on the band.

Hey Guys, thanks for having us. Nevada Rose is Nicki- Vocals, Justin-Guitar/Vocals, Adam-Guitar / Programming, Kyle - Drums / Programming. Kyle and I (Justin) started the band with the intention of blending EDM, Pop, and Hardcore music in a way that wasn't touched upon yet. Once we started demoing out songs, we knew we had something special. We've been a band for a little less then a year now and feel very blessed to be in the situation we are.

How did you choose the name Nevada Rose?

The idea of a "Rose" was something we always toyed around with when trying to choose a name. We liked the idea of something visual that people could remember us by and a Rose holds aesthetic value that we like. We just thought Nevada sounded cool before it lol

How did you end up becoming apart of Tragic Hero Records? How did they find you?

Once the album was done we found a manager and immediately there was a bunch of attention from several labels. We've always loved Tragic Hero and when they approached us aggressively everything just kind of fell into place. Everyone from the label came out to the Ohio date on our last tour and we all got along really well. Definitely awesome, hardworking people and we couldn't be happier. sounded cool before it lol

Is there any story or significant meaning behind your album entitled “Paint Me In Light”?

The idea of "Paint Me In Light" was Adam's idea and we look at it as being cleansed or reborn. This band is a new chapter in all of our lives so we are starting over and taking on the world.

What was it like working with the amazing Andrew Wade (A Day To Remember, The Word Alive, Motionless In White) on producing/recording your album “Paint Me In Light”?

We had high expectations heading into the studio to work with Andrew and he went above and beyond. His knowledge, ideas, and work ethic are amazing and he made this album as good as it could be. There were some very long days tracking and writing but he always made it fun and kept us motivated and determined. We've kept in touch with him and consider him a friend.
