The nomination meet-
ing was April 28. Jerry
and Joyce Band played at
the Pla-Mor Ballroom in
Glencoe, MN. Fun was
had by all. Great music,
but a small crowd.
We lost three offi cers
– Gene Larson, presi-
dent; Jerry Jenniges,
treasurer; and Kathy An-
derson, secretary.
We gained three new
offi cers – Audrey Litzau,
president; Lorriane Han-
son, treasurer; and Terri
Ochsner, secretary.
Barb Siemieniewski
and Darrell Stier are
2019-20 queen and king.
In May, my husband
and I went to the Ho-
Chunk Gaming facility
in Black River Falls, WI
instead of Osseo, Wi, be-
cause the roof collapsed
during a snowstorm at
the Palladium Ballroom.
The Ho-Chunk was a
nice place, but I thought
the dance fl oor was
small. This was for Ryan

festival, Aug. 2-4. There
will be good bands: Fri-
day, 6-10 p.m. – Dain’s
Dutchman;
Saturday,
Malek’s Fisherman al-
ternating with Julia Lee
and the White Rose
Band from noon to 8
p.m.; and Sunday, Leon
Olson alternating with
Larry Olson from noon
to 8 p.m.
