The BBC Earth Experience in London was an immersive visual experience, whereby visitors watched the best of Sir David Attenborough’ s wildlife film footage on 50 screens that were 8m high. The shop and the full merchandise range was inspired by the film content of the experience, designed and developed by the Wild Republic team. standards achieve exemplary levels and reflect the attraction’ s brand values. In addition to retail operations, Wild Republic Retail also offers consultancy services, sharing the extensive insight we’ ve gained over decades within the visitor attraction sector to help partners optimise their retail strategies and maximise income generating opportunities.
These services include sales analysis and range reviews, bespoke product design and development, shop design and fitout.
Each product was made from recycled materials or recyclable, manufactured from 100 % organic cotton, had a long lifespan and a‘ purpose’, with no inner bags. The main challenge was stringent sustainability criteria. Visitor spend, Average Transaction Value and conversion rates exceeded expectations, with positive publicity.
