日本酒の本随と心を守りながら、
海外に日本酒の物語を伝承する
酒サムライ（日本酒造青年協議会）は日本酒文化の伝承と日本酒
の普及を目的に、2004年に設立された。その活動内容は多岐に
The Sake Samurai Association was established in 2004
by the Japan Sake Brewers Association Junior Council to
protect sake culture whilst also promoting sake overseas. They
perform a wide variety of activities, but the core business of
the Sake Samurai has been the creation of a Japanese Sake
section at the world’s largest wine fair, the International
Wine Challenge (IWC). We interviewed Rie Yoshitake,
the Sake Samurai UK representative who has been working
hard to spread the word of Japanese sake globally since 2007.
わたるが、世界最大級のワイン品評会であるInternational Wine
Challenge (以下、IWC)での日本酒部門創出は酒サムライの中核的な
事業となっている。そんな酒サムライで2007年より代表を務めて
日本酒の普及に尽力する吉武理恵さんにお話を伺った。
理恵さんは元々ワインの世界のスペシャリスト。1986年から英国
に在住して高級ワインのマーチャンダイスを続けている。高級ワイ
ンバイヤーとして有名な理恵さんはVIPやハイプロファイルな層に
幅広い人脈を持つ。そしてこの人脈を日本の為に活かしたいとの想
