for a Telugu movie for him followed by a couple of Tamil movies like Anthapuram ,, Kaliyugnal in Malayalam , Kochu Kochu santhoshangal and all were very beautiful songs . Following that , I got a great opportunity to sing for AR Rahman sir . He was recording for the rerecording of Dhil se . There was a little portion where he wanted to record the kids voices for the rerecording . Then he called me over from his office and it ’ s actually a part of a Bandish . I also did a Telugu movie Amma ammunu choodaluni unthi along with Ramya Krishnan . It ’ s a lead role and a very good movie . I sang songs for that . Music was by Koti sir . I did a few commercials like Shakthi masala along with Kushboo and Manorama aachi , Dukes ’ perry milk and a couple of other brands . I was also a model . So that was all as much as acting was concerned .
In one of the studios in AVM , they were auditioning for Kamal Hasan sir ’ s movie Avvai Shanmugi . They were auditioning to select the voice for Kamal sir ’ s daughter ’ s role . They just called me over because I was recording there and they said why don ’ t you try . I was clueless . That was very new because even Kaiyalavu manasu and all the movie when we recorded , the sound was live sound . I had never dubbed earlier . So it used to be “ talk and finish the dialogues there ” requiring no need for dubbing . So this was a very new experience and K . S . Ravi Kumar sir the director of the movie was there and he really helped me a lot in getting the modulation right for the first time . Later on , Kamal sir and Ravi Kumar sir listened to my voice and they really liked it . so they gave me an opportunity to dub in the movie . So that was my first encounter with dubbing for movies . I have dubbed for the couple of other movies like Sooriyavamsam , Unnidathil ennui koduthaen and recently in movies like yaan , Thani oruvan , Uthama villain , Kathi .
Breakthrough or the Milestone in my life was when I got a chance to meet Padmabhushan Sreemathi Sudha Ragunathan . That was in the year 1997 . My parents were so keen that I must learn from Shreemati Sudha Raghunathan . So that requested her and told her that just give us one day like one chance for my daughter to come and sing to you
