Personal Experience
My name is Aly Alkholy, an eighteenyear-old college student whose passion
is weight lifting. A was firstly
introduced to the gym and lifting
weights at the age of 15, by a close
friend of mine. The moment I walked
inside the gym I instantly fell in love
with it, the growls, the pumping hot iron
and the support of the individuals for
one another, it just felt like my second
home. After a while of training I gained
a lot of weight, despite the fact that half
of it was lean muscle mass and the other
half was fat, that was due to my awful
eating habits. I thought in order to get
big you need to eat anything that comes
in your way, so I clearly lacked
knowledge. After I got to read for a
while about nutrition and proper weight
training, I integrated them both and cut
down weight from 233 pounds to 185 in
under 6weeks period. But then what?
Afterwards I was introduced to the world
of supplements and how do they
function by the age of 16, were I bought
my first whey protein tub. Not so much
results were found while taking this
supplement, so I bought more than one
type of dietary supplement and stacked

them together to basically fill my
workout and muscle needs. The thing is
when a person firstly starts to workout
he says that he wouldn't take any protein
shakes, but most eventually do, yet
however only a few percentage exceed
the limits and go for anabolic steroids, in
which I experienced myself. on the 20th
of November I took a drug called D-bol,
which was an oral hormone, the energy
it gave me was beyond imagination, I
felt like my endurance went up and it
wouldn't stop. The weights I usually
used to train with felt like feathers so I
started to use heavier weights. But after
just two days of abusing the drug, I
suffered acne on my shoulders and my
back as well, in addition to this I couldn't
sleep more than 5 hours continuous. So
after only one week I stopped taking that
drug for good. The point from my story
is that it is a very common one my any
teenager that wants to build muscles and
impress their friends on the cost of their
health. Be cautious, things escalate
quickly, the one thing you said you will
never do, you might after all experience
it like in my case.
