PUBLISHER'S NOTE COURAGE IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF FEAR, BUT RATHER THE JUDGMENT THAT SOMETHING ELSE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN FEAR.” AMBROSE REDMOON BUILDING RESILIENCE IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF GROWTH AND CHANGE. THERE ARE SEVERAL WAYS TO CULTIVATE AND INSPIRE RESILIENCE IN PEOPLE. We can all understand that building resilience is just like weight training; where there is no resistence, there is no growth. We see time and time again, great people who have endured monumental tragedies. The trials and tribulations they suffer through build character, strengthen their resolve, and cultivate resilience. This issue we share an incredible story of courage and resilience. If you've ever wondered what else besides a lot of protein and iron gets packed into a powerhouse like our cover athlete, Adolph Quoida, read his story. His journey through struggles and overcoming obstacles has helped build his resolve to be a champion, just as much as the plates he pushes. His determination and perseverance are admirable and are both contrib- uting factors to the success he has achieved—with more to come! On the flipside, we have Fiona Harris. She is another powerhouse who found her own courage to step on stage and has been making magic ever since. Her competitive accolades are numerous and she continues to excel both on and off the stage. This issue's installment of Hotness Infusion was curated with the help of Parlour Boudoir photographer, Dave Abreu. Deirdre Slattery, Adrienne Na and Tana Totonchian are three incredible women who have unique fitness journeys yet they all share a passion for health and fitness that we helped them celebrate by giv- ing life to this amazing feature. You’ll be glad to meet them! And with no shortage of grit and grind in the fitness scene, we give you part two of the Team T-Rex workouts with three of their committed athletes. Try some training with Diana, Renée, and Nadia who take hard work to a whole new level. Fred Antwi, Publisher CONTRIBUTORS DR.
