ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL UKHA SHARED
KNOWLEDGE DAY
H Following on from the highly successful
event last year, the UKHA Shared Knowledge
Day 2017 returned on the 17th March to the
Park Plaza Westminster Hotel, London.
The event saw nearly 50 exhibitors
showcasing the very best services and
products from the hospitality industry,
including all the latest technology and
state-of-the-art equipment.
Housekeepers and general managers
from all over the country came together
with the chance to network and share
ideas, learning tips and tricks to implement
in the workplace.
There were highly informative
presentations and workshop sessions and
the audience were treated to discussions
on a wide variety of topics.
A panel led by Pete Hancock, chief
executive of Pride of Britain Hotels, shared
personal experiences and stories in a lively
and engaging session.
Another highlight was an informative
session run by Richard Jolie from Vision
Support Services on the science of sleep,
offering some useful tips for hoteliers on
how to make sure guests can enjoy a great
night’s sleep.
Guests had ample opportunity
throughout the day to meet the exhibitors
and find out what was on offer.
This year the event saw an increase in
attendees from previous years so making
this a truly successful event.
