MURAT YILDIRIM IN THE ARABIC MAGAZINES MURAT YILDIRIM .....CINEMA EXTRA | Page 28

Murat Yildirim: What an actor usually desires is a good healthy atmosphere, sometimes you request I need three minutes in order to prepare myself for this scene, they give you the time you need to get into that the mode you deem necessary to perform that scene. When taping the atmosphere is already in place you enter the scene and the vehicles are from the 1950's , the clothing is from that era, the performers haircuts are consistent with the time era, and this effects the mentality you have while performing, having everyone around you all feeling themselves in that time period.

Murat Senurkmez: (sound director) The movie is set in 1955 and the sounds and ambiance of that time period, a much less populated city and less sounds of population. Also important is the dialogues, if the dialogues are taped clearly the rest can be added.

Adnan Aydin: (set creator) There was a scene where insects needed to be used, and this was difficult, but we tried and overcame the obstacles of working with insects....an insect is not like having a dog on the set, so this was very difficult to say the least and we are hoping that it had the proper effect.

Tomris Giritlioglu: I pay a lot of attention to the directing of a performer, the interaction that I have with a performer is extremely important to me, for years for me I have lived with the character in my mind, and for me to instill the same emotions into the performer is important. the most difficult role was that of the role of Behcet which was performed by Murat Yildirim, because Behcet was the character who has issues with his different views of life and who throughout the film had to have transformations of his views.
