Special Events at the Bay
Leroy the Lobster ' s Birthday Celebration ! Tuesday , June 28 • 11 am – 7 pm
Come celebrate as Leroy the Lobster grows another year older ! We will cap off this funfilled day by singing " Happy Birthday " and serving free dessert . Included with Barefoot Bay paid admission or season pass .
Heroes ' Day Saturday , July 23 • 11 am – 7 pm
Join us as we honor current and former members of the armed forces , as well as the Mundelein Police , Fire , and EMT Department . Free admission will be given to any of these " heroes " ( with appropriate identification card ).
Margaritaville ( Ages 21 +)
Saturday , July 16 • 7:30 – 10 pm Cost : $ 5 ( Free for season pass holders )
Leave the kids at home and enjoy an evening swim at Barefoot Bay ! Alcoholic beverages & food from Taco ' s Loco ' s Food Truck will be available for purchase . No outside beverages will be allowed inside . Must show ID before entering . Maximum 3 Drink Tickets per person , $ 5 per drink ticket . Raindate July 23 , check Rainout Line for updates . Barefoot Bay and Spray Park Parties
Provided by Mundelein Park & Recreation District : All paper products , two cheese pizzas , beverages , and a reserved eating area . Spray Park parties also include a party host . Additional food and beverage may be purchased . Parties last 2 hours and are available Monday – Sunday .
