f you have a bug enthusiast in the
house, then why not try to create
a ‘Bug Jug’. It’s a homemade
bug collecting jug that is perfect
summer fun for little ones.
To make the craft, you will
need;

1. Before your little one begins the craft, take a craft knife or
sharp scissors and pierce air holes into the plastic bottle.

- An empty 2L plastic
bottle with lid
- Sharp Scissors (for adult
use only!)
- Dirt (plants optional)

2. Add dirt, and plants if you wish, into the bottom of the
bottle. You will need the direct in the bottom to weigh the
bottle down, and the bugs will like it too!
3. Now add bugs! Guide your bugs into the jug through
the open top and then seal it up with the lid, and
observe!
