A little about me

I am a Mumma of two gorgeous little girls.. Lillie 3 and Charlotte 1.5yrs old… They are the loves of my life and my “why”.. I feel all mums and women should have a Tribe of other mums and women supporting them. In a world where people are so busy it is important to be able to find time to connect with like minded people. I have been through a lot in the past 3.5 yrs including fertility treatments, baby loss, bed rest, surgeries, sleep deprivation, melanoma, babies with medical conditions and a lot more. I am not saying this to get pity I am saying this as perhaps someone can relate to my story and as I share more details I just might be able to reach someone else and make them realise they are not alone and offer some advice. I am all about being my true self. With all the perfect Instagram feeds out there sometimes it is hard to see that this isn’t the case for most people… most people are just getting through each day the best they can the way they know how.

For me starting my first online business Charlotte and Lillie helped me get through the severe sleep deprivation of having a baby with Laryngomalacea (severe reflux) and being born with a heart defect.. with hourly wake ups and only just starting to sleep through at 1.5yrs old. The women I have met through my online business were my tribe they were there to talk to and offer advice when I needed it.. I could then in return offer advice.. it gave me an outlet it gave me something else positive to do.. I love my babies and would do anything for them but having this gave me another sense of purpose and achievement plus helped me when things were hard. I truly hope that by visiting or being part of Mummas Tribe will give you a sense of support and sense of community. As we grow over time I am hoping we build a wealth of information, products and stories that truly help other women.

I hope that you enjoy our first edition of Mummas Tribe and welcome if you have decided to join our online directory.

Wishing you love, peace and happiness for a magical 2017,

Love

Isla, Charlotte and Lillie xx
