PURE PERFORMANCE | RECIPE RECIPE CLASSIC SHEPHERD'S PIE WINTER IS THE PERFECT TIME TO SHARE COMFORT FOOD WITH THE REST OF THE FAMILY, AND THE CLASSIC SHEPHERD'S PIE IS SURE TO BE A WINNER, LOADED WITH VEGIES AND PROTEIN. INGREDIENTS 500g lean beef mince 6 potatoes, peeled and boiled 1 tbsp olive oil 1 clove garlic, crushed 1 brown onion, finely chopped 1 carrot, chopped 1/2 cup of peas 1/4 cup of water 1/2 cup beef stock 1/4 cup milk 1 tbsp butter 3/4 cup of grated cheddar cheese INSTRUCTIONS Step 1 
 Boil pototatoes for 20 minutes or until tender. Drain out the water and mash the potatoes. Add milk and butter and whisk until smooth. Set aside. Step 2 
 Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add onion, garlic, carrot, peas and beef mince and cook until mince is browned. Step 3 
 Add stock and water and bring the mixture to the boil. Simmer for 5 minutes, uncovered. Step 4
 Ladle the mixture into a casserole dish and spread the mashed potato over the top. Cover the potato with a generous layer of grated cheese. Step 5
