Through the Eyes of an American Pastor

For most of my ministry, I measured success the way many American pastors do— through programs, staff growth, and, of course, a full house. I deeply love the local church, and I always will. But over time, God gently expanded my understanding of impact beyond my own congregation.
That journey eventually led me to partner with One Mission Society( OMS) and to serve alongside the Coalition of the Willing( COTW), a coordinated effort of 28 global mission organizations and many local ministries that share strategic data on Christian and church presence to plant a church in every people group and every place. What I initially saw as a simple way to support missions became a front-row seat to something much deeper— the multiplication of churches and disciples across entire countries.
As a pastor, I always believed in church planting. I preached about it, funded it, and celebrated it. Yet I had never fully understood what it truly meant to pursue saturation— deliberately reaching areas so that people are not overlooked, and Gospel efforts are not duplicated.
