INTERVIEWS
Interviews need to be with an author, artist, musician or someone in the creative industries. 1 – 4 pages. The interview must be submitted using a word document program with the interviewer's name at the top. An image of the interviewer, interviewee and 1 – 2 pieces of their works may be submitted.
ARTICLES & ESSAYS
Articles and essays may be of any topic of your choosing. Articles 500 – 1000 words. Essays 1500 – 3500 words. These pieces must be submitted using a word document program with the author's name at the top. Word count at the end. 1 image is permitted for articles only.
SATIRE
Satire may be of any topic of your choosing. 500 – 2000 words. Satire must be submitted using a word document program with the author's name at the top. Word count at the end. 1 image is permitted.
GRAPHIC STORIES
Graphic stories include comics, mini-novellas and anything with story-based imagery. Maximum 12 pages. Graphic stories should be submitted in their raw form or as a PDF.
ARTWORK
Artwork accepts all forms including photography, painting, drawing, textiles, ceramics, glass and more. It has to have been completed within the last 6 months before submission. 1 – 5 images of your artwork should be submitted.
Note: In the email text, please provide 1 - 4 paragraphs about your works and how they fit into the theme/ if they are part of an exhibit, and another 1 – 4 paragraphs about yourself as the artist.
