THE ARTWORK

The earth is going through dramatic change and we are all responsible for the repercussions. The woman looks down with a bloody tear running down her cheek as she is saddened by the devastation while of the tornado. The two hands grasping the earth represent hope, as we have the earth in our hands and we can change the outcome. The medium used is digital photo editing. The main image used is a landscape photograph. The image was then layered with the illumination effect to alter the lighting to make the image more dramatic. Photo manipulation was then applied by using smart filters and stock blending. By changing the lighting, hair, eyes, make up and skin, I was trying to bring depth to the image.
