As a student, learning how to manage your time wisely is without a doubt such an important tool; and though it might seem like an easy task, it can be pretty challenging. Being a full-time student can be stressful; and if you add to the mix balancing school, work, family and other obligations, can definitely be overwhelming at times. Here are five tips you can implement to help you go through your undergraduate years with not a worry on your mind. 1. Use a calendar: Take a couple of hours a month to write down deadlines (scholarship applications, homework, projects, test) this will help you plan ahead and be aware of what’s coming up. 2. Make a to-do list every day: This is super important because it will help you prioritize things that need to be done as soon as possible. 3. Find your productive time: This varies depending on the person but identifying if you are a morning or night person will help you to be more efficient. 4. Budget your time: Figure out how much time you spend working in classes and other extracurricular activities. Don’t forget to schedule time to relax. 5. Get a good nights sleep: Make sure to get at least 6-9 hours of sleep. 01 | VOICES | MCA.UTAH.GOV
