Letter From The Director
Within the past several years, the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology has expanded
to include 11 clinical faculty, 12 clinical fellows, 5 research faculty, and 3 postdoctoral
research fellows specializing in gastroenterology, endoscopy, hepatology, and nutritional
sciences.
Our mission here at the Missouri Digestive Health Center is to provide a comprehensive and
multidisciplinary approach to digestive health. Our physicians, nurses, and researchers are
able to provide the best possible care to our patients by utilizing cutting edge technology,
advanced research, and effective patient education.
The Missouri Digestive Health Center offers six lines of service with a specialized team of
physicians, nurses, and researchers who are highly trained and dedicated to digestive health.
These lines of service include: advanced and therapeutic endoscopy, colorectal cancer
screening, liver diseases, inflammatory bowel diseases, neuromuscular and swallowing
disorders, and nutritional sciences.
