North West Mining & Technical Exhibition
Second stop : Rocking Rustenburg ! If you are a supplier involved with platinum group metals ( PGMs ) then read on because MTE is hosting its largest exhibition of the year , which could open many doors for you . This show will target visitors from Sibanye-Stillwater Rustenburg and Kroondal Operations , as well as the Impala Platinum , Royal Bafokeng Platinum and Glencore mining companies .
MTE Exhibitions are rapid , high-impact events that should not be missed , whether you are an exhibitor or a visitor .
First stop : Mooinooi Mining and Technical Exhibition The Mooinooi area has significant platinum , chrome and ferrochrome reserves and is therefore home to various mines that produce these minerals . As such , MTE saw a ‘ platinum ’ opportunity to bring buyers and suppliers together in the area and has done so for many years .
Prior to organising an expo , the MTE team does extensive research on mines in the area to find out what the mines ’ needs are from a products and services perspective . The research includes MTE team members physically visiting the mines and engaging with management , procurement and engineering departments to understand what challenges the mining operations face , and the best way to address them . The information is then relayed back to the market by contacting suppliers who have the products and services required by the mines . This creates a win-win situation for visitors and exhibitors at an MTE expo .
Exhibitors can meet with quality key personnel and senior management from the surrounding operations . The desired outcome of every expo that MTE hosts is to create high value for both visitors and exhibitors using information gained from MTE ’ s extensive research prior to the expo .
