MTE returns to the coal face in Emalahleni
Emalahleni , or ‘ place of coal ’ – a mineral that has become synonymous with the town – will be home to MTE ’ s Emalahleni Mining and Industrial Exhibition Incorporating
Power Stations .
Quality coal seams have led to the establishment of over 22 collieries and mines in the municipal district . In addition to the supply of coal in the area , there are a number of power stations that rely on the nearby mines to supply them with the mineral for power generation .
This annual MTE expo is therefore customised to the coal mining and power generation operations , giving suppliers to the coal industry an opportunity to showcase their latest products and services to the operations in the area .
