A MESSAGE FROM THE ORGANISERS
Welcome to Zambia!
T
he Mining and Technical Exhibitions (MTE) team is returning to
Zambia again, this time with an additional expo. For the first time,
MTE will hold an exhibition in Kalumbila on 18 September 2017
between 12:00 and 17:00 at the Impala Suites..
Kalumbila is situated in the North-Western Province of Zambia and is
a developing mining town that will one day be prominent within the
mining industry. The town lies on the border of Sentinal Copper Mine,
one of the largest mines in the country and serves as a support for the
new mining and economic activities currently happening in the region.
Some of the visitors expected for the Kalumbila exhibition include
Sentinel Copper Mine and Lumwana Copper Mine. Visitors can expect
to see exhibitors from a variety of industries in mining including PPE,
instrumentation, LED lighting and conveyance among others.
The team will then move onto Solwezi, the capital of Zambia’s North-
Western Province, on 20 September 2017. The town has a booming
mining industry and it mainly relies on copper mines and is home to
Kansanshi Copper Mine, which is the world’s eighth largest copper mine.
area including Mopani Copper Mines PLC, Chibuluma Mines PLC and
Konkola Copper Mines (Nkana). All these and many more are expected
to attend the exhibition.
For those who are not familiar with MTE, this travelling exhibition
company has been running for over two decades, providing a
unique platform for suppliers of top-of-the-line mining and industrial
equipment to showcase their goods to a community hungry for new
technology, services and information – right on its doorstep.
We trust the expo will be a rewarding experience – whether you are
visiting or exhibiting. However, we are always open to suggestions as
to how we can make future expos even more accommodating for you
and your business.
