MTE Catalogues Phalaborwa 2017 | Page 3

A MESSAGE FROM THE ORGANISERS Welcome to Phalaborwa! Mining & Technical Exhibitions (MTE) will be in Phalaborwa on 6 June 2017. The town is situated in Limpopo province and is well-known for copper, vermiculite and magnetite production. There is a definite demand for a MTE show in Phalaborwa as the town is home to some of the big players in the mining, engineering and technical industry. Previous MTE shows have seen visitors such as Palabora Copper Mine, Foskor Mine, Idwala Magnetite and local industry players. The show not only caters for the mining industry but also for suppliers of high pressure washers, fans, detection systems and sensors among others. The show is worthwhile for visitors and exhibitors, so be sure not to miss out. There has been some big investment into the area as Palabora Copper is building a new smelter and is busy with its Lift II project. For those who are not familiar with MTE, this travelling exhibitions company has been running for over two decades, providing a unique platform for suppliers of top-of-the-line mining and industrial equipment to showcase their goods to a community hungry for new technology, services and information – right on its doorstep. We trust the expo will be a rewarding experience – whether you are visiting or exhibiting. However, we are always open to suggestions as to how we can make future expos even more accommodating for you and your business.
