| MESSAGE | WELCOME to Tete! Travelling exhibition specialist Mining and Technical Exhibitions (MTE) is excited to be in Mozambique for two fantastic expos in Tete. Mozambique has been added to the MTE calendar this year, and forms part of the cross-border exhibitions organised and hosted by MTE. The inclusion of Mozambique brings the number of cross-border shows in 2019 to three, when combined with Botswana and Zambia. There have been positive developments in Mozambique’s mining industry which was motivation for MTE to explore the possibility of returning to the southern African country and host an exhibition. In Mozambique, coal mining is the fastest growing industrial segment, according to business consulting firm Frost & Sullivan. Significant reserves of coking coal have been discovered in Tete province and the Zambezi area, which have attracted a number of prominent mining companies. Tete Mining and Technical Exhibition Venue: Baobab Hotel Date: 31 July and 01 August 2019 Time: 12:00 to 17:00 Since the Tete area has significant coal reserves, MTE has tailored this expo to appeal to the coal mining industry. For MTE two consecutive days, visitors will have the opportunity to interact with exhibitors and obtain information on the latest products and services appropriate to coal mining. The shows are scheduled for 31 July 2019 and 01 August 2019 at Baobab Hotel, from 12:00 to 17:00. The MTE team will also be in Mozambique to oversee the expos. Andrew Macnamara and Hannes Jacobs will be at the expo to assist with any queries. For those who are not familiar with MTE, this travelling exhibition company has been running for more than 25 years, providing a unique platform for suppliers of top-of-the-line mining and industrial equipment to showcase their goods to a community hungry for new technology, services and information – right on its doorstep. MTE is part of Interact Media Defined (IMD), a multi-media publishing house with publications in a variety of industries including mining, plumbing, building and civil engineering among others. We trust the expo will be a rewarding experience – whether you are visiting or exhibiting. However, we are always open to suggestions as to how we can make future expos even more accommodating for you and your business.
