MTEMalelane2018
Welcome to
Mpumalanga!
The end of 2019 is fast approaching, but before
that, Mining and Technical Exhibitions (MTE) is
hosting the remaining high impact exhibitions in
November.
The travelling exhibition is excited to be in
Mpumalanga for two expos of a different kind in
Malelane and Ngodwana.
The first expo is scheduled to take place on 05
November 2019 at the Malelane Rugby Club, from
11:00 to 16:30. The area is made up of integrated
industries which include a booming sugar industry
and farms that produce sugarcane, subtropical
fruit and winter vegetables. Although there is no
mining activity in the area, Malelane is an ideal
location for a trade and technical exhibition. MTE
is returning to the area following successful shows
in the past.
Malelane Sugar, Agricultural and Industrial
Exhibition
Date: 05 November 2019
Time: 11:00 – 16:30
After Malelane, MTE will head to Ngodwana for
the second expo in the province. This show will
take place at the Ngodwana Training Centre on 07
November, between 13:00 and 17:00. Similar to
Malelane, the Ngodwana expo will also be more
of a trade and technical expo than a traditional
mining expo, which MTE is well-known for.
Ngodwana Paper and Pulp Exhibition
Date: 07 November 2019
Time: 13:00 – 17:00
Venue: Ngodwana Training Centre
This time around, the focus will be on the paper
and pulp industry. The Ngodwana Mill, which is
located in the area, has been operating for more
than 50 years and produces paper grade pulp for
its own and market consumption and newsprint,
containerboard and dissolving wood pulp. This
expo will benefit visitors from the mill as well as
those from surrounding local industries in the area.
MTE cannot ignore the broad and diverse range of
industries in Malelane and Ngodwana. As such, the
