Welcome to
Mining and Technical Exhibitions (MTE) is returning
to the North West once again for the Lichtenburg
cement and agriculture expo.
Located in North West Province of South Africa,
Lichtenburg town was established during the 1880s.
Aside from maize, the town’s main economic
activity is cement production.
This expo will be MTE’s final expo for 2019 and
it is expected to be a fantastic expo to end off the
year. The show will take place on 14 November
2019. From 13:00 to 17:00, Hoërskool Lichtenburg
will be a hive of activity as visitors and exhibitors
will be networking throughout the expo.

Lichtenburg is home to numerous cement plants
with a significant footprint not only in North
West Province but in South Africa as well. Afrisam
Dudfield factory, Lafarge Lichtenburg plant and
Sephaku Cement are among the main cement
plants in Lichtenburg. In addition, the PPC slurry is
also found in Lichtenburg.
North West!
Due to the many cement business in the area,
the MTE Lichtenburg expo is the perfect platform
to bring various industry players from different
areas of the cement industry together in a mutual
location. Although this is the last show for the
year, the MTE team will be available to ensure that
everything runs smoothly during the expo. Sheldon
Greybe, Hannes Jacobs, Gillian Jeffery and Caryn
Kitching will be available to assist with any queries.
For those who are not familiar with MTE, this
travelling exhibition company has been running
for over 25 years, providing a unique platform
for suppliers of top-of-the-line mining and
industrial equipment to showcase their goods to
a community hungry for new technology, services
and information – right on its doorstep.
