WELCOME TO KZN!
The end of the year is fast approaching with less
than three months to go. For Mining & Technical
Exhibitions (MTE), not much changes as it
continues to host high-impact exhibitions until the
end of 2018.
The MTE team will be in KwaZulu-Natal for two
fantastic shows in Pongola and Richards Bay.
The first show will be in Pongola on 16 October 2018.
Visitors need to be at Ntonga Rec Club between
13:00 and 17:00 to see and find out about the
latest innovative products and services available
on the market.
The Pongola expo is an industrial show that
incorporates the Pongola sugar mill and surrounding
communities. Pongola is a small town situated in a
beautiful and lush Zululand valley and is home to
one of three sugar factories owned and operated by
RCL Foods. RCL Foods Sugar & Milling Division is one
of the largest producers of sugar in South Africa.

Unlike the traditional mining expos that MTE is
renowned for, this show is especially tailored to
appeal to the sugar, agricultural and industrial
sectors. MTE’s expertise and versatility makes
it possible to organise and host exhibitions in
different industries – the Pongola show is a
perfect example.

Time: 13:00 to 17:00
Next the MTE team will be on the road again, this
time to Richards Bay on 18 October 2018. John
Ross College is the venue for the show, which takes
place between 13:00 and 17:30. Richards Bay is
a perfect location to host this expo because the
town is home to several mining operations such as
Richards Bay Minerals and South32.
